Life is rolling a funny way for us. Somehow the rolling ball is stuck at where we are now. In order to keep the ball rolling in a good speed, we have to learn to push appropriate amount without jeopardizing what has kept us going all these years. Where are we going? We are both working on things that would bring us lots of securities in life, everything you name it, income, holiday, maybe a flat, one needs for sustain a comfortable life, except, except for the security of reproduction. We spent all the energy on work and our life is oriented around work. We are telling ourselves that we are working hard now so in the future we would have more. Yes, we like most of what we are doing, but it was not one of those typical fun things to do. I for one do not feel doing a PhD is something fun at all. It is all hard work, steadiness, consistency, fortitude, serenity. This is the life we expected but this is the life we are having right now.
